I apologize in advance if I missed this in my search of the archives...I have removed the turn signals and all ancillary wiring too. My question is about the self-canceling module: as far as I can tell from the wiring diagram, the indicator flasher/signals/self-canceler are a self-contained system that is, no other system depends on it. Is that true? I suppose it is too late to go back but want to be prepared for any weirdness. Thanks, Kevin

Kevin,
You are correct, the indicator system is independant of the other systems (headlight , tail light etc), removal should have no effect on any of the other lighting equipment. As too the self cancelling module, the indicators on my 78 model have worked ok for the last 10 years with out the self cancelling module fitted. I just have to turn the indicators off like any other bike.
