I went one size smaller on my pilot jet and eliminated all my plug fouling problems and ALMOST all of my starting problems.

We ran the BPR7EIX in andy's race bike, fine, onepot, there is a little triangle casting at the bottom of the flot bowl, in it there is a diaphragm, replace it, check the small hose coming from the fuel tank and see if there is any fuel dripping out of it, or, turn the tap on prime and lock off the small hose with a little pair of vice grips and see if that stops the fouling, new needle and seat doesn't hurt either, these bikes are 25 odd years old now and the carb parts are cheaper than a new one, premium fuel is fine in SR's [unlike miniblades etc] if it gets to much phone for help with carb in hand,I will lead you through it, 02 63377599.
