I have one. The Bat-Pac (if you've searched SR500 on eBay, you've seen it ;D). The bike starts and runs fine on it, but none of the lights or indicators work the way they should (intermittent speed blinkers, e.g., fast, slow, fast, dim headlight and taillight, etc.). In my neck of the woods not having proper indicators and lights equals two things... cops are more likely to pull you over (then they'd smell the VP110 for sure! ;D) and you're even less visible to the the idiot-cager-with-cell-phone-attached-to-their-face crowd. I don't like either outcome, so I'm trying to fit up a small gel battery in the underseat tray.

G'day Andy,
I also have Bat-Pac's fitted to both my bikes. I have no problems with either of them, the only hassels being no neutral indicator when the engine is not running and having absolutely no lights at all to show anyone you are there if you stall it in traffic at night. The lights, indicators etc seem to work fine when the engine is going.

I installed a Batterylesser from vanem.com.au and I have the smae problem with the indicators. They blink sometimes but mostly just stay on.
Has anyone replaced the indicator relay so it works with the battery eliminator systems??

I recently fitted a bat-pac to my bike and am very happy with it. My lights are brighter with the bat-pac than with my old battery. The only problem with it is that my tail light changes in intensity a bit when the blinkers are on, but besides that it works great.
