Hey guys: If you don't install the "run/off" switch, is it necessary to close that circuit somehow in the wiring?

I think the kill switch works by earthing the ignition to ground. I.e. the normal "run" position is open circuit, so you should be able to just leave the switch disconnected. Mick

Not the same on all Yama's, BTW... the XS650 Specials need the switch bypassed (i.e. connect the two leads). Moral: Check yer schematic.
