It is common that "all eliminators" will have some side effects at very slow idle if the bike is not running quite as it should do or if you have extra lights (higher watt bulbs etc) and all functions on at the same time and the bike is idling at 700rpm....., when guys fit the eliminators to 25 year old bikes and have not checked that the 25 year old wiring and connectors are in good condition or have corrosion causing excesive resistance then you will get problems no matter what brand you use. The range of the capacitor and quality of the wiring is important if you want them to work well, the Daytona units are my first choice, dont get me wrong the posh units are ok, but there is a difference in the wiring and internals, If you start to run racing quality coils and ignition set ups then go for the Daytona, if it is just a stock coil and factory ignition then it doesn't matter so much, the POSH will be great.

Hello to all ! I had this same problem it turned out te be under the seat follow the + wire from the battery fuse to where it splits (you'll need a stanley) there is a poxy brass joiner that corrodes giving all kinds of grief . Its like a 3 way , it goes to the rectifier & towards the headlight area . I cleaned it up & soldered it & retaped the problem was fixed . If the bike sits for more than a month or 2 pays to charge the battery coz as u know everythjng is made in China need I say any more ! Cheers from Dave.
