Get a large capacitor from your local electronicshop > 10.000microfahrad 40 Volt will do the larger the better, that is the numbers of fahrad

Yup, track down to Dick Smith's and spend about $5 on a 15-20 volt as many microfarad capasitor as you can find. Mine used a pair of 15 volt 11,000 mic caps wired in parallel. Then you can ditch the battery, holder, air box, side covers and tool box. Replace the air filter with a K&N item, hold the wiring up with a perspex plate under the frame rails and zip tied in place. Cheap and effective.

Bob, connect the capacitor just like you connect a battery - on black and + on red. in many cases the capacitor outercase is -(minus)

Hi, Yes, I connected mine to the plus and minus from the battery leads...worked fine for many years. Not a lot of good for blinkers etc. down low though...that's been my experience anyway. SR
