Well, I bought or rather rescued a 79 with shot wiring and a shot connectors, including the wiring that went to the three or four hard parts on the ignition system. Will that boyer bransden system completely replace the stock ignition or are their origional pieces left over?

Hallo,
Guess you have to remove the generatorcover to see for your self. there should be 2 pickup coils on top of the generator one with a black and white/green wire reading 72,8-109,2 ohm. the other with a black and white/red wire reading 12,8-19,2 ohm if they are not there some one screwed things up for you
