Hey guys, just started the SR up for the first few times today...easy peasy with the info I got here. Buuut...Gas is literally pouring out of the carb overflow, on the bottom of the bowl (the whole time it runs). And if that is stopped it will pour out of the vent higher on the carb. Any suggestions?  ? |

ahhh, just found some suggestions of a stuck float.

Hi, Stuck float or some dirt/rubbish on the surface of the 'needle and seat'...tap the carby bowl and see if it stops...you may be able to free it up... SR  |

cool, I'll check it out manana. thanks stu- Tapped the heck out the carb, not letting loose. I'll take it apart later....36 mik is on the way anyway
I took it out for a quick burn for the hell of it, with a rag on the overflow....love this thing!

I hope the Mikuni is a pumper type........ it's the stocker on there currently....busy with some other (two wheeled) stuff so I'll just wait till the other carb gets here....then disassemble the stocker to see what the deal is. |
