Hi there
Ive just bought an 83 SR and currently getting to grips with it, nice bike with only 12000 miles on it, engine runs as sweet as a clock with no unusual noises. idle is a little low - What do you guys/ladies adjust the idle to??

1200 rpm in the manual for my '78 model. If it stalls all the time, try adjusting low speed idle mixture. Or just up the idle speed to say 13 or 1400. Nice newish engine, unfiddled with, should idle at 1200 no worries.

I have too many mods so i don't think I can go any lower.
