Where if at all are after market fuel cap seals available? According to Yammys you can't get one new unless you buy a cap and thats $150+ australian Has anyone made one?

yes sir. the xs650 had the same gas cap as the SR500. just make sure you order the one for your year. the 20-0036 will fit. i've also ordered the progressive springs and brake pads, caliper rebuilt kits, new master cylinder. i've installed all of them on my bike and its great. the brake discs they have will also fit your rims. but really if you have doubt, order from the yamaha sports plaza in seattle. the gas cap seal you need is like 8.50.
