Ebay? Do a search for the carb make and model, not the SR.

Yeah, the Keyster kits from the US look pretty good. Does anyone recall it being mentioned here that a part(s) from the kit didn't fit their carb tho'? Rgdz CL

I think the main issue with the Keyster kit is that I think it uses a different type of float valve. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the stock system uses a float valve which attaches to the brass float tang with a little wire loop? Which pushes and pulls on the valve to open and close it. (Can't be sure because the insides of my carb were a mess) With the Keyster replacement, the valve is captive and is closed by the float tang pushing it into the closed position as the floats rise. I did have a fuel starvation problem after fitting the kit because the valve didn't release on its own and I had to drop the float bowl and give it a little tug with a pair of needle nose pliers to get the fuel flowing. No problems since.

By the way the company I got my kit from was NRP in Manchester UK. The guy knows his stuff and can supply all the necessary diaphragms too, these can be a source of fuelling problems, and mine were in a sorry state.

Have had heaps of trouble with the stock carb and have had it appart heaps of times trying to sort the problem. The only thing that i can think of is the rubber diaphrams being the problem as everything else looks o.k.The bike would run and start o.k down low but misfire in the upper revs like it was running out of fuel.Have tried every thing that i know with out any luck. Just won a 34mm flat slide off ebay so its time to throw the stock carb in the corner of the shed and start playing with the flat slide.
