Hi. Have finally ripped my original SR carb apart, and what a disaster. Being used to AMAL carbs, this carb is in comparison a monster. Have ordered diaphrams and all ohter stuff from KEDO. Qt: Gonna keep the air box, and wonder what filter to put in it. KEDO have K&N filter shaped/designed as the original. Has anyone experince with this? home.online.no/~cfolkeRegards Christer

The K&N that fits the stock airbox is the one I am using. Works great! Gary Hopwheels

Hey Christer!
For what it's worth, I have a K&N 'permanent' filter in the stock airbox on my Honda. It works much better than the disposables.
We have a K&N 'pod' type on our SR500 (non-stock carb). Was there when we bought it, but it seems to work well.
Either way, remember to clean and reoil the K&N from time to time, just like replacing a disposable filter. I'll bet you'll be pleased with it.
How's the new business going?
