Figured since cold weather's on the way I'd better finish this project: transferred 1980 SR500 with 5800 miles and bent frame at steering head onto a 1978 SR500 frame with rear disc brake. Almost done! Went to start it - Who knows how long it has been sitting? Carb needs rebuild. Stopped yesterday at my friendly Yamaha dealer - blanched when he said a float needle was $31 and an accelerator pump diaphram was $22! Is there another (cheaper) alternative?
