I made the bracket that sits behind the frame tubing. It is bolted to the rubber mount for the standard pipe and comes forward to the Conti mount flange. I had to modify (file) the front of the stainless Conti mount to clear the rear of the brake pedal where the pinch bolt is. Being stainless that's not a big deal and it just polished back up to shiny again... Hey Stew, how about a picture of your bracket and the modification to the muffler. The pipe looks great. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, well I took some pics just a short while ago...it's night and I tried to get down beside it with the 900 parked right next door...so we'll see how we go...it's cold and dark outside...and the SR is pretty dirty right now. I have to wash it tomorrow as I'm going to a bike show in the town where I grew up on the weekend...if I'm not at work that is... ...here' are some pics...see if you can make sense of these: ...this is the rough cardboard template that I made to fit in the space available...you'll note that the braket is welded up from steel strap and a small piece of angle...there is also some careful bending on it to miss things like the pipe...frame etc... ...very dirty... ...it bolts to the standard rubber mount to avoid vibration... Hmmm...things always look bad by flash...ahem... SR
