Asking is a noble and smart thing, gung ho and bang clatter clatter is what most do,keep researching everything you do, its a rare trait these days and something you hopefully will never stop doing, you should see what I see in the bike shop from people [and shops] "having a go" maybe I might load up some pictures on the site. regards Carl

...ah yes, many things have fallen into engines...some with really bad results as can be seen...a friend of mine relayed how he was checking for TDC with a wooden stick when it fell into the cylinder. He tried for ages to get it out to no avail. He eventually gave up and forgot about it. He simply started it up and it never seemed to have any adverse effects!  Heh, heh...perhaps it burnt up...  I don't suggest you try this by the way! SR  |
