Srockets, 520 rear in 42 or 40, I think its WR400F that matches the pattern, 40 requires a little trimming of the stock hub so the chain sits down well, but thats all, sprockets are easily available from any bike shop in aussie that deals in JT [through link in QLD] or "supersprox" through A1, or, "the chain gang" who will make you anything in any colour!! On this topic, I've standard sprockets and the bike does 4000RPM at 100km/hr. I wouldn't mind lowering that with a 17 sprocket, and I get the impression that it effects the bike's pull at higher speeds more than lower speeds. Is that right, how have others found it? (I also ride in the inner-city a lot and rely on the fast acceleration at low speeds - maybe I'll just get into swapping front sprockets between week-day city and week-end country riding).

No, the 17 will transform your whole world and you will not need to change it, you will get all the way across a intersection in first gear. safety and a boner !! regards carl.
