Hi,
On the road I wear good old fashion military GP boots, not the most stylish things especially when worn with a set of racing leathers, but they give great support for you ankles and you can walk all day in them if you ar touring (or the bike bike breaks down) unlike a lot of purpose made bike boots. They do take a while to break-in, but once you have had them on for a while you forget that you are wearing them. I may be a bit biased about them having spent 16 years in the navy and having obtained my 3 pair for free.

I run the BP ultimate and think is great. MY bike shop guy mostly works on European bikes and older ones at that, and he had some customers mentioning that the premium stuff can cause some fouling of plugs (referring more specifically to my bmw r65LS). I haven't found this to be the case. Anyone had this issue? My Alfetta's plugs used to foul up quite regularly, but that may be more of an Alfa thing. I'd clean them monthly. The SR on the other hand, i'm cleaning its plug weekly. Something's not right

Good comment , that clinches it for me , no joggers & definately no sandals ! Stick to the BP utimate . Hows the weather , its been 25-35C for a whole couple of months except for that perfect storm that destroyed Esperance 2weeks ago . I find it hard getting back to work as every day I go up to my shed & eye my bikes & I go hmmm which one , so I just go for a hack . I mean someones got to do it ! I've never shoveled snow from my front yard . haha.
