Hi,
you easily build a 2 cable ignition electricity from out cdi to in coil with each 2 male and female connectors . (3.cable is ground contact off switch and is not necessary for test)
If there is a spark from the hi-V-cable to ground after that , there may be a short circuit in the cabletree or in the off switch.
