Ah, where to start. I returned from Nippon on Monday morning after a whirlwind 5 day trip. I had a great time and saw many bikes. That was the sole reason for trip of course...heh, heh... I went to see some great personal bike collections, attended the races at Tsukuba as pretty well a VIP, and of course I visited the Honda Collection Hall at Motegi! I also visited Akira in Hatanodai and saw his beautiful 2000 SR500. He then took me to Orange Boulevarde. Some beautiful SRs there, especially the Seely replica ones! Fujii san took me in to see his basement SR collection...including a couple of DCMs (!) one he'd made himself...and I spent a long while photographing the marvellous creations inside. Akira then transported me to a bike/car meeting place next to a freeway and I saw over some very nice customised SRs, one with a sidecar and a stock Japanese E model. Thanks for bringing them along for me guys! He then transported me the long distance to Narita Airport by car so I could catch my overnight flight home to Aus...don't remember much of the flight as I slept for a lot of it! The week finally caught up with me!!! Thanks very much to Akira for a great Sunday's adventure and for that long trip to the airport! I have many photographs and it will take me some time to sort them out...I will have to make up an album somewhere??? SR ;D

Hi, The black bike belongs to Akira. You'd be better to put the questions to him. I know that it's a 2000 SR500 and that was the last of the 500s. He had an FCR carb fitted but now has the MX carby fitted...for now...eh Akira. Check out the rest of the pics as well. Click on the pics to see a larger version... There are more of Akira's bike and some of the Orange Boulevarde bikes as well. You will see Fujii san the owner of OMC, standing there with an Aust SR club T shirt as well. Akira I have forgotten the other guys name again...could you let me know again...sorry. There are also some nice pics of the OMC bikes including the Seeley replica ones. There is a DCM 500 SR there and a replica of the DCM that was made by OMC....that one has Fujii san holding up the tank cover beside it. Enjoy the pics...I am going to load up some from the Honda Collection Hall as well...in a while. SR

Ah cool. I saw Taka the other day and he showed me the pics you emailed him, but I figured that there had to be more than those few.
