Does anyone know a supplier of the retro style tank stickers the appeared on Kenny Roberts old flat track bikes. The yellow Yamahas (even a couple) years ago had this yellow bike with black/white thick tape looking stripes.
I know Omar's sells kinda what I want, but I might as well buy my own vinyl sticker machine versus buy from him --> it would probably be cheaper!
Thanks guys!

Maybe try getting your hands on a copy of VMX magazine. There a lots of dealer and supplier adverts, with all sorts of repro decal kits etc in Australia, England and the US.
Mostly for old motocross iron of course, but I'm sure one of them would do it

Mate I've had heaps of luck with that kind of gear from a local signwriter ,they do all their stuff on a computer with vinyl these days ! So if you know what you want they can usually do it no problem & for a good price too ! I've had all my Yamaha,500&pinstripes made up in gold & black & you get extras in case you make a blue .Touch base with one of these guys cheers Dave.

Although, some are rather iffy to do it if the logo is copyrighted.

It might be one of those "different here in Australia too how things are in the USA", but I have had no problems with sign shops making up what are probably copyrighted logos / brand names for bike tanks and sidecovers. Most of the places seem to realise that you are doing up an old bike that you can nolonger buy the correct decals for and are just happy to help (and take you money).

Strick, I got quick service from fastdecals.com. They have a huge selection and very quick service. I got plain white tuning forks for my spray can black tank. Peace out, Greg

Hi, Is this what you're looking for?? www.klutta.com/speedblock.pdf <--PDF FILE..right click, save as... I drew it up on Adobe Illustrator and made a PDF file out of it.. Bring this vector file to the sign shop. Measure how long the tank is.. including the curves and stuff.. and tell the sign shop to resize proportionally. Depending on your application. I'd cut a solid white, then have the black go over top. this is easiest... Of course, you can ask them to cut you a stencil and paint the pattern on. The yellow's there to show the white. I'll keep the file in the server for a few weeks! Any Q, PM me or leave a note! Cheers, Kit
