Shawn,
I had no problems with carbie clearance on the frame that I used, which was from my 1978 390 AMX. I purposely did not cut the frame or do any permanent changes when I fitted the 500 engine back the early 80's, also, I have bought a 1978 250 CR frame a year ago to allow me to swap everthing over to it and rebuilt the Husky back on the original frame. I don't have an airbox I just run a large K&N filter open to the elements, although I have looked at building an airbox several times over the years and discounted it as too much work for very little gain. My oil tank is home-made from 1mm steel sheet and a selection of hydrauluc fittings. I will take some picture of the oil tank on my bike and post them tomorrow.

CJ.
If you don't mind, I'll slip that post with the pics from the General Discussion over to the Image Forum. I'll leave a quick link and msg.
Take care, G Man
