Have uploaded a progress pic to the XS650 album.
Have to wait for the man to do his thing to post it.
Excuse lousy photography maybe I'll get better by the time I finish the bike.
I've got the motor back in the frame, the footpegs, gear lever, kick start, brake lever, rear mudguard and exhaust fitted.
Starting to feel like its worthwhile now.
Lawn needs another mowing.

I thought that picture took a suspiciously short time to sprint off along the electronic super goat track.

Yahoo! The XT is 99% finished.
Shakedown cruise last night saw a couple of minor problems appear.
Went out to the monday night club meeting. Right side cover blew off while overtaking fellow club member. He very kindly stopped and collected it and handed it to me at the club. Got some repainting to do tonight.
Found Bodytech automotive acrylic paint doesn't handle fuel spills too well. Had to give the tank another cut and polish. Any advice on fuel proof clear coats appreciated.
Other than that, had to clean a stack of grease off this morning. Flaming new o-ring chain threw grease everywhere.
Bike shop hasn't come good with a pod filter yet. Got some after market filter foam and made a temporary one. Super glued joins work really well on that stuff.
Rode bike to work this morning. Will try to post pics to xs650 album today.
