Those choppers are bloody convincing. Maybe I'll go that way eventually with my 400...
Also, it looks like I've got the same book as you Stew! There's some shockers in there, but some stunning bikes as well.

Also Robo, I wonder what in the world these guys are using for a springer front end? Interesting.

Hallo Gman, probably a old harleyspringer (replica ) Nitrohead used to have a springer in their salesprogram .Daytona had a girder. i do not know if they are for sale anymore. BTW it is rather easy to adept a harley springer to a yamahaneck.have done this on my chopper years ago. www.thumperpage.com/pix/1117/sr_500.jpgregards sjef

Hey Sjef- Do you have a how-to for that springer mod?
Gman- There are a few companies that sell HD type springer for metric fitment. I think they are all just modified re-pops.

Hallo Robomod
the springerfork must have a 1 inch stem. for the lower bearing make a bushing with a small collar: inside 1,00 inch,outside30,00mm. push this bushing with the collar down over the the stem and second, place the lower bearing on to the bushing.for the upper bearing : grind the upper bearing from 25mm inside to 1,00 inch inside and place the bearing the normal way,
thats all
