>Does everyone want the part numbers for the diaphragms? No, they don't hold up very well here in the desert heat so it's better to use a design that doesn't have them. Yeah ,lucky there are no deserts in OZ Thanks for the offer Carl ,I found mine online last year at this site. www.yamahasportsplaza.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/default.aspx Some one in a cooler place might want them Thanks! ;D nice web site for my kart parts also.

Most of our country is desert and 40c [100f] temps are the norm, the diaphragms last about 10 years plus if you regularly ride the bike [ don't let the fuel dry out in the carb] have a look at google earth, our country is 80% red from space, fuel drynig out through lack of use is the culprit, oh, and by the way, the FCR has a Diapragm, and a rubber tipped float needle.....just like the SR carb, and I still bought one, and a CR special like stew ross, and on and on, is it true most people can't point out australia on a map of the world?

Carl, Earlier in the thread you said the FCR is great for those with a big budget. You didn't mention anything about the Keihin CR Special round slide. It's about 200USD cheaper and I've had it up to my gills with the Dellorto 38mm pumper. I'm good to beg borrow or steel the money for the FCR but I wanna know if it's worth all that or not?
