Canucksr, I didn't know you could weld through chrome. Good idea. I'll check into that with my local exhaust shop.

I don't know if you can weld through chrome . My Supertrapp is brushed stainless steel, no chrome.

hey canucksr, I am very interested in your TT500 carb. What is it? I take it that the carb has no accelerator pump and no vacuum decelleration enrichment?
There is a Mikuni 32mm on Ebay that was previously used on a 650 Norton. I'm thinking it might be a pretty useful substitute for the stock 34mm Mikuni. My bike is stumbling badly at 4000rpm, and I suspect the carb.
