Conti works up to 5 grand OK, aftermarket harley silencer is good but throws flames, again up to about 5and a half, you want something like what wizz will end up with, he will send you photo's soon, his empty megaphone is going to gain some packing and a core, and it will not hit a "brick wall" in RPM anymore. Carl.

its all about harmonic waves, created by the explosion in the cylinder and the pulse wave created as such, perf core and good packing will give power and keep the bark at bay,the bigger the body of the muffler the better the noise absorption, the curly stainless washing up thingy's absorb noise well and hold good tune and do not rust or blow out. Carl.

Hey Carl, could you post some pics of any of the Madaz mufflers you were talkin' about?
They don't show anything for the SR on their site. Thanks and Cheers.

Imagine the bullett triumph muffler, but with a inch and three quarter perf core instead of the puched core type they normally use, [worked engine ask for 2 inch core] regards, carl.

Thanks for the response Carl.
A bullet style muffler is exactly the style I'm leaning towards as far as giving my bike a "classic" look.
I did e-mail Madaz for some info/pics, but havn't received a response from them.
Thanks again.
